Fulham FC has announced the signing of Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal on a five-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional year. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder expressed his excitement about joining the club, citing the project's potential and the opportunity to work with the manager and talented players.

Smith Rowe, born in Croydon, South London, rose through Arsenal's academy, making his senior debut in 2018. He has represented England at various youth levels, winning the 2017 Under-17 FIFA World Cup and the 2023 Under-21 European Championship. He made his senior England debut in 2021.

Smith Rowe predominantly plays on the left wing, cutting inside to take shots. In his best season (2021/22), he scored 10 league goals in 33 matches. He is expected to play on the left wing for Fulham, bolstering their attacking options.

Fulham's signing of Smith Rowe follows Ryan Sessegnon's return to the club and precedes their pre-season training camp in Portugal. Smith Rowe will likely make his debut in the upcoming friendlies against Benfica or Sevilla, with the Premier League season starting on August 16 against Manchester United.
