FPL Position Changes: How Havertz, Richarlison, and Others Will Be Affected

 The Fantasy Premier League has announced position changes for six players ahead of the 2024/25 season. Kai Havertz, who played as a midfielder last season, will now be classified as a forward, along with Richarlison. Meanwhile, Timo Werner, Christopher Nkunku, and Antoine Semenyo will switch from forwards to midfielders. Ian Maatsen, who joined Aston Villa from Chelsea, will change from a midfielder to a defender.

Kai Havertz's new position could make him a standout forward in Fantasy Premier League. The Arsenal star scored 13 goals and provided 10 assists last season, with nine of those goals and nine assists coming after he began playing as a striker in Gameweek 21.

Richarlison, who scored 11 goals and provided four assists for Tottenham Hotspur last season, is another player who could benefit from his new position.

Christopher Nkunku, who suffered an injury-hit debut campaign for Chelsea last season, will occupy a wide role in the team's 4-3-3 formation and has a favorable schedule in the early matches.

Antoine Semenyo, who scored eight goals and provided four assists for AFC Bournemouth last season, could be a strong value pick if he can build on that output once again.

Ian Maatsen, who joined Aston Villa from Chelsea, will play as a left-back and has the chance to make an immediate impact at both ends of the pitch, with Villa's kind early schedule.

These position changes could have a significant impact on Fantasy Premier League teams, and managers will need to take them into account when selecting their squads.
