The Story of Palm Sunday
Once upon a time, there was a man named Jesus who lived in a land called Israel. He was known for his kindness, wisdom, and miracles. Many people believed he was the Son of God.

One day, Jesus decided to enter Jerusalem, a big city, riding on a donkey. People heard he was coming and rushed to greet him. They laid down palm branches and their cloaks on the ground, making a path for him. They shouted, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"

The crowds were excited because they believed Jesus was the long-awaited Messiah, the one who would save them. They hoped he would free them from their troubles and bring peace to their land.
But not everyone was happy to see Jesus. Some religious leaders were jealous of his popularity and feared his teachings. They didn't want to lose their power and authority.
As Jesus entered Jerusalem, he went to the temple, a holy place for worship. There, he saw people buying and selling goods, turning the temple into a marketplace. He was upset because the temple was meant to be a place of prayer, not business.
So, Jesus overturned the tables of the merchants and drove out those who were buying and selling. He said, "My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of robbers."
This angered the religious leaders even more, and they began to plot against Jesus. They wanted to arrest him and put him to death.
Palm Sunday reminds us of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the hope and excitement of the people who welcomed him. It also reminds us of the challenges Jesus faced and his courage in standing up for what is right.
