US Women’s Deaf National Team Clinches Third Consecutive World Championship with 3-0 Victory Over Turkey.

In an impressive display of skill and dominance, the U.S. Women’s Deaf National Team secured their third consecutive World Deaf Football Championship title with a resounding 3-0 win against Turkey on October 6 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This victory extended their impeccable all-time record to 38 wins, 0 draws, and 1 loss in 39 matches since 2005.

The USA showcased their attacking prowess early in the match, building on the momentum from a 10-1 semifinal triumph over England. Holly Hunter opened the scoring in the ninth minute, capitalizing on a scramble following a corner kick. The relentless pressure continued, leading to a powerful goal from Sophie Post in the 37th minute.

The second half saw the USA maintain their dominance, with Emily Spreeman securing a goal just two minutes in.
