Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Brighton & Hove Albion as the best-coached club in the Premier League, highlighting their ability to play "incredible football" despite losing key players in recent times. Brighton secured a sixth-place finish last season, earning them a spot in Europe for the first time in the club's history. However, they faced significant departures during the summer transfer window, with Alexis Mac Allister moving to Liverpool and Moises Caicedo joining Chelsea.

Despite these challenges, Brighton currently sits sixth in the Premier League standings. In the Europa League, they have struggled, finding themselves at the bottom of their group without a win. Their last league match ended in a 6-1 defeat to Aston Villa. In contrast, Liverpool is in fourth place, holding a one-point advantage over Brighton.

Klopp acknowledged Brighton's resilience, stating, "Brighton had a few results which didn't go exactly in their way, but that's a completely normal situation in a development. They had a lot of changes, lost top players - one of them we got - and still play incredible football." Klopp expressed his expectation of a challenging match against Brighton, describing them as "one of the best sides in the league" and praising them as the "best-coached team in the league."

He credited Brighton's progress and consistency, emphasizing their adaptability in terms of formations, players, and lineups. Klopp also commended their choice of hiring Roberto De Zerbi as the new head coach, describing it as a "smart move."

Regarding Alexis Mac Allister, Klopp highlighted his versatility and value to Liverpool. While the Argentine World Cup winner has been a key presence in Liverpool's midfield, Klopp noted that they are not focused on determining his best position at this time. Instead, they are utilizing his exceptional skills and adaptability on the pitch.

Klopp also emphasized Liverpool's improved defensive performance, attributing part of this progress to Mac Allister's ability to read the game and contribute to compact and effective defending.

In summary, Klopp's comments reflect the respect and admiration he holds for Brighton & Hove Albion as a club that continues to excel despite facing challenges such as player departures.
