Liverpool FC has announced the successful acquisition of Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich. The talented player has signed a long-term contract with the Premier League club.

While specific financial details of the transfer have not been disclosed, British media outlets have reported that the deal is valued at approximately £34.3 million ($43.17 million USD) for a five-year contract.

Gravenberch expressed his excitement about joining Liverpool, stating, "If you see it from the outside, it's one of the biggest clubs in the world. Also the fans, the stadium, I think everything from the outside is top."

Liverpool has been active in the transfer market, already securing the signings of midfielders Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Wataru Endo. However, with a midfield that underwent significant changes during the close season, manager Juergen Klopp was keen to add another player to the roster before the transfer window closed.

Klopp shared his enthusiasm about Gravenberch, describing him as "an exceptional talent" and highlighting his versatile skills on the field. "He can drive the ball, he can be really a box-to-box threat, he's going there. He has a good eye for a pass and a good pass," Klopp said.

Gravenberch, at 21 years old, is a product of the Ajax Amsterdam academy. In 2018, he made history by becoming the youngest-ever player to appear in the Dutch Eredivisie, achieving this milestone at just 16 years and 130 days old. He made his international debut for the Netherlands in 2021 and has accumulated 11 caps, contributing one goal to his national team.

Liverpool's upcoming match is a Premier League encounter against Aston Villa, scheduled to take place at their home stadium on Sunday.
