Marcelo Brozovic, the talented midfielder from Inter Milan and Croatia, has completed a transfer to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia on a three-year contract. The announcement was made by the Saudi Pro League club on Monday, although specific financial details were not disclosed. However, Italian media reports suggest that the transfer fee amounted to 18 million euros ($19.63 million).

Expressing their delight on Twitter, Al-Nassr wrote, "Everyone wanted him. He wanted ONLY us. #BrozovićIsYellow." The Croatian international himself confirmed his decision, stating, "Don't worry I'm here. I choose AL-Nassr."

Brozovic, aged 30, joined Inter in 2015 and played a pivotal role in their recent successes, including winning the Serie A title in the 2020-21 season and securing two Italian Cup trophies. He was also a part of the Inter team that reached the Champions League final but unfortunately lost to Manchester City last season.

The Saudi Pro League has been attracting Europe-based players, with Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Al-Nassr in January being a significant factor. Additionally, Al-Ittihad, the league champions, recently signed Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema and former Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante.

Last month, the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) announced a Sports Clubs Investment and Privatization Project, involving several prominent teams in the league, including Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr, and Al-Hilal.
