The much-awaited 20th edition of El Tráfico between LA Galaxy and LAFC on July 4th left an indelible mark in the annals of soccer history. The iconic Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, witnessed an astonishing attendance of 82,110 fervent fans, setting a new MLS single-game record. Originally slated for the MLS is Back weekend at the start of the 2023 season, this highly anticipated Matchday 23 clash was rescheduled to summer due to inclement weather. Surpassing the previous record held by Charlotte FC, who welcomed 74,479 fans for their inaugural home match in 2022, the electric atmosphere of El Tráfico surpassed all expectations.
