Beckham's Touch on Messi's Mural in Miami
The arrival of one of the greatest footballers of all time is imminent! As expected, Lionel Messi's announcement to join the United States has ignited a wave of excitement in the country's footballing landscape. Supporters of Inter Miami eagerly await Messi's presence, marking the culmination of their fervent anticipation. If all goes well, the Argentine World Cup-winning captain will officially join Inter Miami tomorrow. Additionally, Major League Soccer (MLS) club Soccerer will formally introduce him as their player.
Preparations in Miami:
Inter Miami, fully prepared for the arrival of the club's biggest star in history, had previously adorned the wall of a city building with a majestic mural depicting Messi. Now, the mural is being given a fresh touch of color to celebrate his imminent arrival.
The Artist and Beckham's Involvement:
The task of adding vibrant colors to the mural is being carefully attended to by none other than David Beckham, the co-owner of Inter Miami. Beckham's wife, Victoria, recently uploaded a video on Instagram showcasing the creative process. In the video, artists can be seen playfully painting the larger-than-life Messi mural on a crane. They painted Messi's teeth in white.
Expressing her admiration, Victoria exclaimed, "I think David Beckham is doing an amazing job. We arrived in Miami just a few days ago, and he has already immersed himself in this project. Look at this colossal mural of Messi! Is there anything that David Beckham cannot do? He climbed up there (on the crane) to paint it. When you see someone like Beckham painting Messi's teeth in the mural, it's just incredible!"
Future Prospects and Debut:
With family vacation time spent, Messi is now ready to embark on his journey to the United States. It is believed that he will sign a contract with Inter Miami for a duration of one and a half years. On July 21, he may make his official debut in American football by playing for Soccerer in the league cup against Cruz Azul, following their victory in the World Cup.
