There is much discussion about Kylian Mbappe's departure from Paris Saint-Germain and his arrival at Real Madrid. In the past two seasons, there has been intense speculation about Mbappe joining Real Madrid. However, in the last season, he changed his decision at the last moment and renewed his contract with PSG, but now he has come to Real Madrid.

Florentino Perez, the president of the club, has also commented on Mbappe's departure from Paris. Interestingly, while there is buzz about Lionel Messi and Neymar leaving Paris, Mbappe's situation is the opposite.

European media outlets have reported that Mbappe wants to stay at Paris's club. However, Diego Simeone, the coach of Atletico Madrid, has sparked a new debate by commenting on Mbappe's potential arrival at Real Madrid. He said that he still sees Mbappe coming to Real Madrid because Real always attracts the best players.

Even if he doesn't come this season, there is still a chance for Mbappe to join Real Madrid in the next season. He will become a free agent in the 2023-24 season, and his chances of coming to Real will increase further. Simeone hinted at the possibility of Mbappe joining Real by saying, "I see Mbappe coming to Madrid, why not? Real always brings the best players. Mbappe's arrival at Real and Messi's return to Barcelona will be fantastic for La Liga."

Comparing Mbappe with Vinicius Junior and Erling Haaland, Simeone further stated, "What he is doing now, Vinicius can compete with him for the Ballon d'Or. He has improved a lot. He is one of those players who can change the match. But between Mbappe and Vinicius, I would choose Mbappe. And I would also choose Mbappe over Haaland. This extraordinary boy does everything very well. It's not just madness."

Simeone also spoke about Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti. Referring to his admiration for Ancelotti, Simeone said, "I want to meet Ancelotti at some point. I think he is an extraordinary person. I love him. Maybe we can talk about some Brazilian players who could be in my team (laughs)."

Under Simeone's leadership, Atletico Madrid has played in the UEFA Champions League final twice. However, they lost to city rivals Real Madrid on both occasions. Despite taking a 1-0 lead in the 2014 final, Atletico conceded a goal in the 93rd minute and ended up losing.

Simeone has mentioned that losing that final and replacing Adrián with Raúl García as a substitute was his biggest mistake as a coach if you want to know about that match.
