According to multiple reports, about 20,000 warriors with tanks and armored vehicles participated in the invasion of Moscow. In this situation, the Russian "Chopper" (combat helicopter) is conducting continuous attacks. Even in densely populated areas, they are launching attacks in the airspace, risking civilian casualties. President Putin stated in a speech on Saturday, "The aggressors will receive an appropriate response." He also issued warrants for the arrest of Prigozhin.

In addition, last week, the rebellious Wagner forces started a major campaign in Russia's main border region, bypassing Ukraine's borders. It is claimed in several Western media reports that warriors hired by Prigozhin entered the important western Russian city of Voronezh in the early morning on Saturday. Previously, the Wagner forces had invaded Rostov-on-Don, a city located near the Ukrainian border on Friday. The distance from that area to Moscow is approximately a thousand kilometers. They have advanced several hundred kilometers towards Moscow.

Prigozhin claimed in an audio message on Saturday that their campaign is aimed at the Russian capital, Moscow. He also accused the Russian army of attacking Wagner's warriors in Ukraine. However, the Russian government has not yet disclosed whether the Wagner forces have taken control of the border areas of Ukraine. If the news is true, it is believed by some military experts that hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers may face danger in Ukraine. Because in that case, the supply of weapons and ammunition may be cut off.

Prigozhin, a close associate of Putin and a hotel businessman, is not directly part of the Russian forces. However, for the past two and a half years, they have been indirectly involved in the Ukrainian war as a support force for the Russian army. They have also fought in civil wars in countries such as Libya, Syria, and Mozambique with a professional force of about 40,000 warriors. Over the past few months, there has been a disagreement between Prigozhin and Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu and Chief of Staff Valery Gerasimov over determining the strategy of the Ukrainian war. Prigozhin had also accused the Russian army of deliberately sacrificing Wagner's warriors. This time, warriors hired by Prigozhin have directly taken up arms against Moscow.
