Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology can easily be used to create images or videos on various subjects. However, many people are using this technology to create fake images or videos, which has become a concern in the world of technology. Even on the blogging site Twitter, such images or videos are rapidly spreading. To address this problem, Twitter has updated its "fact-checking" method using artificial intelligence to identify manipulated images or videos. By using artificial intelligence, when someone posts an image or video created with this technology, Twitter will indicate that it has been identified and inform others. As a result, other users will be able to know that specific images or videos have been created using artificial intelligence.

According to Twitter's information, a feature called "Notes on Media" will be introduced to verify images or videos. With this feature, registered users connected to the Community Notes program can verify the images or videos shared on Twitter and report them if they are false. If the allegation is true, Twitter will display a message stating that the image or video has been created using artificial intelligence in the specific post. Consequently, false information will not be disseminated due to images or videos created using artificial intelligence.

Currently, registered users can report any tweet (message on Twitter) containing false or manipulated information using the Community Notes feature. Moreover, they can also provide their opinions against specific tweets. Along with these messages, Twitter users can provide information about images or videos created using artificial intelligence. Therefore, Twitter will be able to easily verify the authenticity of images and videos created using artificial intelligence.

It should be noted that not everyone can use the Community Notes feature. Users must not violate Twitter's policies, and only users with accounts created at least six months ago can participate in the Community Notes program by applying. After obtaining a rating or credibility, users can participate as Community Notes and provide opinions about the truthfulness of other users' tweets, including images or videos created using artificial intelligence. Twitter has mentioned that a minimum rating of 10 is required for writing Community Notes, along with the identification of images or videos created using artificial intelligence.
