Erling Haaland's presence is like a headache for the opposing team. He has become an explosive footballer since joining Manchester City. In the upcoming FA Cup final, Manchester City will face their rival, Manchester United. Rafael Varane has devised a plan to challenge City in the final.

The upcoming FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United is taking place amidst the ongoing season. They have faced each other twice before in the Premier League. Manchester City won 6-3 at the Etihad Stadium, and then United won 2-1 at Old Trafford. The previous match's 6-3 defeat seems to be bothering Varane. Haaland scored a hat-trick in that match and provided two assists. Kevin De Bruyne also provided two assists in that match, even though he didn't score any goals. However, this season De Bruyne has scored 10 goals and provided 28 assists.

According to Varane, if the communication between Haaland and De Bruyne can be disrupted, it is possible to defeat City. The United defender said, "It is very difficult to stop their connection. We need to break their communication. We have to stop them at the beginning, not towards the end, as it will be too late. We planned this in the previous match against them (the 2-1 victory for United). We need to be even stronger because their communication is very good, and they can turn the match around quickly. We have to work on this."

In the 2022-23 season, Haaland joined Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund. He has already rewritten the record books. He has scored a total of 52 goals in all competitions, including 36 goals in the Premier League, which is the highest in a single Premier League season. The City striker has the opportunity to achieve a treble. After winning the English Premier League in the current season, City has two more final opportunities. In the upcoming FA Cup final, they will face Manchester United, and in Istanbul on June 10th, they will face Inter Milan in the Champions League final.
