The wreckage of the Titanic submarine was found near the remains of the Titanic ship at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Four days after extensive underwater searches, the recovery team discovered the remnants of the sunken ship on Thursday.

OceanGate, a privately owned US-based organization, conducted the submarine expedition for marine tourism. On Thursday, the first institution announced the deaths of five more divers.

Following that, a press conference by the United States Coast Guard revealed that more wreckage was found near the remains of the Titanic. Among them, five large pieces of the Titanic submarine were discovered. It is believed that the submarine has exploded, but it is not currently possible to determine when it exploded.

The press conference also conveyed condolences to the families of the five divers. The recovery team is uncertain about whether the bodies of the divers can be retrieved.

The divers on the submarine were Hamish Harding (58) from Britain's wealthy Hardinge family, Shahzada Dawood (48) from a Pakistani wealthy family, his son Suleman Dawood (19), former French Navy member Paul Henri Nargeolet, and OceanGate's Chief Operating Officer Stockton Rush. Hamish Harding was known as an adventurer, having previously made multiple trips to the South Pole. Shahzada Dawood, a member of another wealthy Pakistani family, resided in the United Kingdom. His son, Suleman, was a student. Paul Henri Nargeolet was a Titanic expert who had previously been near the wreckage of the Titanic.

On Sunday, a vessel named "Polar Prince" departed from the city of St. John's in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, with the Titanic's remains. After reaching the area where the wreckage of the Titanic was located in the Atlantic, the submarine embarked on its journey to the ocean floor with the five divers. However, shortly after two hours of the start of the journey towards the ocean floor, communication with the control room was lost.

After that, an extensive search was conducted for the submarine. The area of recovery operations in the North Atlantic, where the divers are being searched, is twice the size of the state of Connecticut in the United States. The family members and the recovery team expressed hope that the divers are still alive.

Yesterday, two new vessels from France and the United States joined the operation. They were equipped with a powerful robot named "Victor-6000." The robot was able to capture images of the remains of the Titanic's wreckage.

The Titanic sank in 1912. The remnants of the ship, including the wreckage of the submarine, lie at a depth of 12,500 feet on the floor of the North Atlantic.
