During the transfer window, there are talks of changing clubs for the star players. This time Liverpool has taken a step forward in preparing for the upcoming season. Alexi Mack Alister is joining Liverpool on a five-year contract, leaving Brighton.

Various English media outlets have reported the news of Mack Alister's contract with Liverpool. Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted, "The deal is done. This contract will remain until June 2028. It's a five-year contract. Liverpool will pay less than £60 million. Medical tests will be conducted within 24 to 48 hours." This Argentine midfielder will be Liverpool's first signing for the 2023-2024 season.

Mack Alister came into the limelight from the 2022 World Cup. In the tournament, this Argentine midfielder played six matches, scored one goal, and provided one assist. He has made a significant contribution to Liverpool in the following season in the European league. In 40 matches for the club during the 2022-2023 season, he scored 12 goals and provided 3 assists, including 10 goals in the Premier League.
