In a square in Paris, the capital of France, protests are taking place following the death of a teenager by police bullets. Similar protests have been taking place throughout the night, just like the previous day. At least 150 protesters have been arrested from various cities.

The country's Interior Minister has stated that the protesters have targeted town halls, schools, and police stations in different cities. He has referred to them as 'terrifying violence.' Clashes between the protesters and the police have also occurred in various locations.

In this situation, President Emmanuel Macron has called for an emergency meeting on Thursday. The President's official residence, the Élysée Palace, has confirmed the news.

Earlier, President Macron described the incident as 'unforgivable.' He stated that there is no way to support this incident.

Last Tuesday, a 17-year-old named Nahel was shot by the police in a square in Paris. It is alleged that when the teenager did not follow instructions and tried to flee, he was shot by the police.

However, a video of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing two police officers trying to stop the car. One of them points a weapon towards the driver through the window. As soon as the driver starts moving the car, the police officer shoots at the car from close range. The car then crashes a few meters away due to the accident. The news agency AFP has verified the authenticity of the video.

Last year, a similar incident of a death by police bullets occurred at a traffic circle in France. In such incidents, the number of people killed by police bullets has been 13 so far.

Relatives of Nahel, the teenager killed by police bullets, informed the news agency Reuters that his family has come from Algeria.

According to Reuters, since 2017, the majority of people who have been killed by police bullets in square incidents are of North African or Arab descent.
