Now it will be possible to use one WhatsApp account on four iPhones
Recently, WhatsApp enabled the feature of using the same account on four Android phones. This feature is called "Companion Mode." Now, this instant messaging app under the ownership of Meta is also enabling this feature on iPhones.
According to a report by the technology website 9to5Mac, when this feature is activated, users will be able to connect up to three iPhones as secondary phones. As a result, they can use the same WhatsApp account on four iPhones separately.
Additionally, WhatsApp has introduced the feature called "Status Archive." Through this new feature, users can save their WhatsApp status updates and share them again with other users in the future.
As per a report by The Times of India, Webetainfo has shared a screenshot of the new feature. In the screenshot, it can be seen that after activating the feature, a "Banner" will appear in the "Status" tab. Users can confirm whether the "Status Archive" feature is enabled or not by looking at it.
Normally, when a status is posted on WhatsApp, it is automatically deleted after 24 hours. However, when the new "Status Archive" feature is enabled, users can retain those statuses in their collection. This allows users to share their old statuses again. The statuses will be stored for 30 days. Currently, this feature has been enabled in the beta version of Android.
