Deceased pop icon Michael Jackson used to mesmerize his global audience with his songs, and his "Moonwalk" dance was particularly beloved among his fans. The black hat (fedora) he wore when he first performed this iconic dance move is now up for auction.
In September of this year, an auction will be held in Paris, France, showcasing various memorabilia from the music world. Jackson's hat is also planned to be included in that auction.
During the 1983 Motown concert, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, wore a black hat while performing the song "Billie Jean." The concert was televised, and Jackson gained immense popularity. It was during this performance that Jackson initiated the "Moonwalk" dance. Over time, this dance became his trademark.
On the upcoming 26th of September, the auction house will auction off Jackson's hat from their collection. The estimated value of the hat ranges from 60,000 to 100,000 euros.
Other memorabilia that will be included in the auction from the music world are a guitar belonging to American musician T-Bone Walker, a suit worn by British musician Martin Gore, and a gold record from American musician Madonna.
The auction will be organized by Art Pieces and Lemon Action.
Approximately 200 items will be auctioned, and a complete list of the items will be published on the 4th of July.
