Karim Benzema has not rejected the proposal of joining the Saudi Pro League. He had previously agreed to a contract with Al-Ittihad alongside Real Madrid. Another Saudi Arabian club, Al-Hilal, has presented a proposal to Lionel Messi, aiming to break the world record contract. However, the Argentine captain has not yet accepted the offer.

Messi's two-year relationship with PSG has come to an end officially. His contract with the French giants runs until June 30th. The anticipation for the 35-year-old star's possible destination is growing louder before the start of the new season. Will Messi return to his former address, Barcelona, or join Al-Ittihad? He has long been courted by Inter Miami, a club in the Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States.

Yesterday, Forbes' online version of the business magazine reported that Messi has reached an agreement with Inter Miami. Argentine journalist Hernan Castillo and Barcelona's transfer market expert Gerard Romero were mentioned as sources.

Last week, in a report by sports media outlet Sporrt, it was revealed that David Beckham's American franchise has offered Messi an official contract for four years. The deal would see Messi earning 50 million euros per season (approximately 576 crore 32 lakh taka).

Inter Miami has been mentioned as a probable destination for Messi for quite some time. The buzz of returning to Barcelona or going to the Middle East was also strong. On Tuesday, Barcelona obtained the green signal in the form of an agreement with Messi. His wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, also urged Messi to return home through social media. Messi's home is indeed Catalonia. Even though it may not be his birthplace, it is everything in his career. Barcelona has overcome the financial issues that hindered Messi's return. Three days ago, his father and agent, Jorge Messi, also had a meeting with Barcelona president Joan Laporta. However, the outcome of that meeting has not been revealed yet. Both parties have taken time to make the next decision.

Last Saturday, in a report by Foot Mercato, it was stated that Messi has not yet accepted the proposal of a £1.3 billion contract from Al-Hilal for two seasons.
