The rivalry between PSG and Kylian Mbappé is escalating. The dispute began with a letter sent to Mbappé regarding the extension of the contract after the year 2024. PSG made it clear that there is no opportunity for a free transfer. If he wants to leave, he has to do it through a transfer deal. They have stated that PSG will only let him go if they receive compensation for the financial loss caused by his departure. This includes the 150 million euros in salary and loyalty bonus (60 million euros in salary and 90 million euros in loyalty bonus) that Mbappé is entitled to.
