Which is the most thrilling duel in club football? The answer to this question would be El Clásico based on logical reasoning. Due to the star-studded teams, the passionate fan base, and the rivalry in the league, the Real Madrid-Barcelona match always holds extra significance. Especially when Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo used to play for Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively, El Clásico reached new heights of excitement.

First, Ronaldo at Real Madrid and later Messi at Barcelona, both experienced a bit of a dip in that excitement after leaving their respective clubs. However, El Clásico remains one of the best duels in the history of the game. Often, the fate of both teams is determined by the outcome of El Clásico. Therefore, everyone keeps an eye on the date of El Clásico, and some even mark these dates on their calendars. The time to mark them on the calendar has come again as La Liga's new season schedule has been announced.

Naturally, everyone's focus was on El Clásico after the announcement of the new schedule. According to La Liga's new schedule, the first El Clásico of this year will take place on October 29th at Barcelona's Estadio Olímpico Lluís Companys. After that, the return leg will be played on April 21st next year at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu.

In the last season, Real Madrid won 3-1 at Bernabéu in the first match. Barcelona sought revenge in the next leg at Camp Nou and won 2-1. However, considering the overall record in La Liga, Real Madrid has had a slightly better edge than Barcelona. In 186 matches in La Liga, Real Madrid has won 77 times, while Barcelona has won 74 times and 35 matches ended in a draw. However, in the last five matches, Barcelona has won three of them.

After El Clásico, the match that generates the most interest in La Liga is the Madrid Derby. Football fans also keep an eye on the duel between the two city rivals, Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid. The determination of the league champion often depends on the outcome of these matches. The first Madrid Derby of this season will be held on September 24th at the Wanda Metropolitano, Atlético Madrid's home ground.

In the second leg of the league, the two teams will face each other at Santiago Bernabéu on February 4th next year. The season, which starts on August 13th, will see Real Madrid playing their first match against Athletic Bilbao. On the other hand, the current champions Barcelona will play their first match against Getafe. And in the last match of the season, Real Madrid will host Real Betis at their home ground, while Barcelona will welcome Sevilla in their final match.
