Somewhere there's a ditch. Somewhere there's a burial mound. It has been covered and hidden. Archaeologists discovered such a place in the Netherlands, similar to England's Stonehenge, believed to have been used as a burial site in the distant past.

The area of this burial site in the Netherlands is about three times the size of a football field. All the mounds were made of soil and wood. Archaeologists have also found human remains, animal bones, and bronze artifacts alongside these burial sites. It is believed that all these items were offerings to the deceased. According to reports, soil was excavated from Ratdam, 70 kilometers east of Tiel municipality, to create this massive burial site.

The report further states that this burial site was once significant. People used to travel here on special days throughout the year. Various rituals were performed, and loved ones were commemorated. It is believed that gatherings took place here, and there are traces of paths on both sides of the road.

During the discovery of this massive site in 2017, several burial mounds were also found. Glass beads were discovered from one woman's tomb, which is an indication of the Mesopotamian civilization, present-day Iraq. However, no old glass beads were found in the Netherlands. Historians speculate that this civilization in Tiel had connections with the civilization that existed 5,000 kilometers away.
