Paramount Network's hit series "Yellowstone" will conclude with the fifth season's final episodes in November. However, fans of the show can expect an untitled sequel series to premiere on Paramount Network in December and later on Paramount+.

Speculations arose that Kevin Costner would be leaving the series to focus on his Western feature "Horizon." The announcement came from Chris McCarthy, the President & CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios, who praised the "Yellowstone" universe and Taylor Sheridan's creative mind for the upcoming sequel series.

Details regarding the plot and cast of the sequel are still under wraps. However, it was previously reported that Taylor Sheridan was in talks with Matthew McConaughey to star in a new show that would feature some characters from the "Yellowstone" universe.

The original "Yellowstone" series was co-created by John Linson and Taylor Sheridan. The show's executive producers include John Linson, Art Linson, Sheridan, Costner, Glasser, Bob Yari, Stephen Kay, and Christina Voros. Both the original and the sequel series are produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.

David Glasser, CEO of 101 Studios, is thrilled to continue the Dutton story, picking up where "Yellowstone" left off, in another epic tale. The new journey is set to captivate audiences worldwide.

Unfortunately, "Yellowstone" is not currently available on Netflix. However, you can stream the show on Paramount Network by taking advantage of their free trial offer. It's worth noting that the streaming service is only available in the US, so viewers from other locations will need a VPN to access it.

Alternatively, viewers in certain countries can access seasons 1-4 of "Yellowstone" on Amazon Prime Video.

Is Yellowstone Based on a true story?

"Yellowstone" is a work of fiction and is not based on a true story. The show is a drama that follows the Dutton family, who own a ranch in Montana, USA. As they try to safeguard their land from external threats, the family faces various challenges. Although the show's creators took inspiration from the American West's history and culture, the characters and events depicted in the series are fictional.

Why is Kevin Costner not in season 5 of Yellowstone?

Contrary to rumors, Kevin Costner appears in the fifth season of "Yellowstone". Reports suggested that Costner might not reprise his role as John Dutton due to his involvement in other projects, such as the western film "Let Him Go". However, these rumors have proven to be unfounded as Costner has indeed returned to play the lead character in the show's fifth season.

Is Yellowstone rated R?

"Yellowstone" is not rated R, but it is rated TV-MA, which means it is intended for mature audiences and may not be suitable for children under 17. The show contains graphic violence, strong language, and nudity, which is why it is recommended for adult viewers. It's always a good idea to check the rating and content warnings of a show before watching it, especially if you have concerns about the content.
