According to a report by the technology-focused website Engadget, a video of the phone has recently surfaced online. The video shows how the built-in thermometer in the Pixel 8 Pro phone will work. There will be a new sensor just below the LED flash on the phone's back panel. It is primarily an infrared thermometer that can measure body temperature.


To measure body temperature using the sensor of the Pixel 8 Pro phone, it will need to be brought close to the temple. However, care must be taken not to touch the skin. Afterward, the "Tap to Start" option on the screen needs to be tapped near the temple. Once the temperature measurement is complete, the phone will vibrate. The built-in thermometer will only be available in the Pro model. In addition to measuring body temperature, the phone can also measure the temperature of various objects.


In addition, Google has announced the Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a at an AI/IoT conference. The company has also revealed the prices of the two phones. There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the Pixel Fold for a long time. Google has recently released pictures of the Pixel Fold on Twitter.


According to a report by the technology-focused website Engadget, the price of the Pixel Fold will be $1,799. In addition, the price of the new phone in the Pixel series, the Pixel 7a, will be $499.


Furthermore, the possible configuration of the Pixel Fold has been revealed. The information was shared by a Twitter account named Evan Blass, who stated that the display of the Fold will be 5.5 inches in length and 3.1 inches in width. It will feature Google's Tensor SoC as the processor.


Along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, the phone will also have the convenience of face unlock. It is said to have over 24 hours of playback battery life and 72 hours of standby time.
