King Charles III is set to be crowned alongside The Queen Consort at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, making him the fortieth Sovereign to be crowned at the historic location.
The tradition of holding coronations at Westminster Abbey dates back to 1066 when William the Conqueror was crowned there.
Queen Elizabeth II's coronation was the first to be televised, and many people watched the event on television for the first time.
