Kim Zolciak has filed for divorce from Kroy Biermann after 11 years of marriage, stating in court documents obtained by TMZ that their marriage is "irretrievably broken."

 The couple's separation date was reported as April 30. They share four children, and Kim is requesting primary physical custody and joint legal custody.

She also wants spousal support and wishes to legally change her name back to her maiden name. Kim and Kroy's representatives have not commented on the matter.

The couple met during season three of Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2010, got married in November 2011, and had their own show, Don't Be Tardy..., which ran for eight seasons until 2020. 

In a recent interview, Kim and Kroy emphasized the importance of choosing to love each other every day and staying true to the promises made in front of family and friends.
